Who it is for
Agencies with 5 to 50 retainer clients who send a weekly or monthly update. Each account manager keeps their clients. The agent does the copy and paste.
It works for SEO, CRO, web and ecommerce agencies. Ad-heavy agencies need ad spend data, which is not in Homla yet.
Right now our process is super manual and it's taking my team a week+ to get all the reports sent outAgency owner with 35 clients, on r/agency
What you need
Connect these in Homla, under Connectors. Each person signs in with their own account.
- Google Analytics (GA4)
- Google Search Console
- Shopify (if the client is a store)
- Email (IMAP/SMTP) or Outlook
Steps in Homla
- 1ConnectConnect the client accountsEach account manager connects GA4 and Search Console with their own Google sign-in. Add Shopify for store clients. Share each account only with the people on that client.
- 2MemoryAdd each client to memoryOne entry per client: goals, KPIs, contacts, tone (formal or not) and what you promised this quarter.
- 3SkillSave your report skillCopy the skill below and paste your own report structure into it. Your best account manager's format becomes the team's format.
- 4AgentCreate the agentName it "Client reports". Give it the skill and read access to GA4, Search Console and Shopify. Add the mailbox and Homla pages.
- 5ApprovalApprove before the client sees itThe email and the page wait for the account manager's yes. They can edit the text first.
- 6TriggerSet the schedule"On a schedule", Monday at 7:00. Drafts are ready before the team starts.
The skill to save
Copy it into Skills, then New skill. Edit the parts in brackets.
Name: Weekly client report For each client listed in company memory with a weekly report: 1. Read the client's goals, KPIs, tone and current promises from memory. 2. Pull last week and the week before: GA4 (sessions, conversion rate, revenue), Search Console (clicks, top queries, position changes), Shopify if connected. 3. Pick the 2 changes that matter most for their goals. Explain each in one sentence with the number. 4. Write "Next week we will" from what we promised in memory. Never promise new work. 5. Draft the email in the client's tone: 150 words max, 4 KPIs, the 2 changes, next steps. 6. Publish the full numbers as a password-protected page and link it. 7. Wait for the account manager's approval before sending. If a number looks wrong, or a tool is not connected, say so in the draft. Do not guess.

What stays under your control
- No email reaches a client without a person's yes.
- Each account manager keeps their own access. The agent sees an account only if it was shared with it.
- Freelancers get access with an end date. It stops on its own when the contract ends.
- Your format, everywhere. Update the skill once and next Monday's reports follow it.
Good to know
Start with one client for two weeks. Fix the skill until the drafts need almost no edits. Then add the rest.
Reports from Google Ads or Meta Ads need those connectors. They are not in Homla yet.
