Agents

An agent is a helper that works in the background. It uses your team's skills and tools, and asks before it changes anything.

Where agents live#

Open Agents in the sidebar. It has four tabs: Agents, Approvals, Queue and Runners. Each agent has its own page with a chat, its logs and its mailbox.

Who can use agents#

The Agents setting in each role decides:

None
Sees no agents.
Use
The default. Talks to the agents they are allowed to, and sees their own runs.
Manage
Creates, edits, pauses and deletes agents. Sees every run and approval.

Admins can always manage agents.

Who can talk to it#

Everyone in Homla
The default. Everyone in your workspace.
Specific people
Only the people you list.
Anyone
Including people outside Homla, for example by email. Their requests never act without approval.

A Blocked list keeps out anyone you name.

Commands#

Give an agent up to 25 commands, typed as /name in its chat. /help and /new are built in.

Limits#

Automatic runs a day
From 1 to 1,440. Leave it empty for no limit.
Minutes a run
From 1 to 240. The default is 15.

Chat and Run now are never limited.

Run history#

The agent's Logs show Runs, with their status (Done, Failed, Missed, Running now, Waiting for a computer), and an Audit of every tool call made as this agent.

Pause or delete#

Pause stops its schedules and triggers until you resume it. Deleting asks Delete <name>? Its access, schedules and history are removed.

Agents never take a seat on your plan.
