FAQ
Short answers to the questions we hear most.
Which AI apps work with Homla?
Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Claude on the web, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, VS Code with GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI, Windsurf, Cline, Warp and n8n. Any app that takes a remote MCP address works. See Connect your AI.
Do I need to change my AI plan?
No. Your Claude or ChatGPT plan stays as it is. Homla adds your tools, skills and memory to it.
What does it cost?
Free for one person. $79 a month for up to 10 people. $249 for 25, $499 for 50. Extra seats cost $5 to $8 a month. See Plans and billing.
Do agents take a seat?
No. Agents never take a seat. Guests from other workspaces do not either.
Can Homla see my passwords?
No. Tools you sign in to use their own sign-in page. Keys you paste are stored encrypted and never shown again. See Security.
Can my AI change things without asking?
Every write is a dry run until confirmed. Agents wait for a person on every write unless an admin set that action to Auto. See Approvals.
Who sees our skills and memory?
Everyone in your workspace sees company memory. Skills folders can be locked to some roles. Guests see only what you gave them.
Can a freelancer use our tools?
Yes, as a guest. They need their own Homla workspace. You choose their tools, read or write, and an end date. See Guests.
What if a tool we use is not listed?
If the tool offers an MCP server, an admin can add it. See Your own connectors. Otherwise, ask us.
Why do I see "Wedge" in places?
Homla used to be called Wedge. The CLI command is still wedge, and some addresses use wedgeai.work. They are the real, current names.
Is there an API?
Yes. Create an API key and call https://app.homla.ai/v1/tools. See API keys.
Can I use Homla in more than one company?
Yes. If you belong to several workspaces, your connector URL ends with the workspace, and the CLI has wedge workspace use. Each sign-up creates one workspace.
