Connect Codex

Add three lines to your Codex config file. A small helper, mcp-remote, handles the sign-in.

Before you start#

You need Node.js, so that npx works in your terminal. Codex talks to local tools, and mcp-remote bridges it to Homla and handles the browser sign-in.

Steps#

  1. Add this to your configOpen ~/.codex/config.toml (create it if it does not exist) and add:
    ~/.codex/config.toml
    [mcp_servers.homla]
    command = "npx"
    args = ["-y", "mcp-remote", "https://app.homla.ai/mcp"]
  2. Start CodexYour browser opens the Homla sign-in page the first time Codex calls Homla. Press Approve and connect.
  3. Try itAsk: Use Homla to list my team's skills.

The Homla app shows this config, not a codex mcp add command. If you belong to several workspaces, copy the block from the app so the URL holds your workspace.
