Your own connectors
Add any tool that offers an MCP server, by its address. You choose which of its actions your team can use.
Add one#
Admins only. Open Connectors, press Add a connector, then go to Your own connectors.
- Name itGive it a Name your team will recognise.
- Paste its addressPaste the Connector URL. You find it in the tool's own docs or settings, under MCP or AI. It is a web address, often ending in
/mcpor/sse. - Choose how Homla connects
- Sign in: the tool's own sign-in page opens.
- Paste a token: a bearer token, or a key sent in a custom header (for example
X-Api-Key). - None: for a public server.
- Load its actionsPress Connect and show tools.
- ReviewHomla lists every action the server offers. For each, tick Use and Read only. Actions the server marks as deleting start unticked. Nothing is usable until you press Save.
Under Advanced, the Short name prefixes its actions, like acme_search.
How it behaves#
- Its actions show up in everyone's AI next to the built-in tools, within each person's role.
- An action is treated as a write unless you ticked Read only. Writes are a dry run until confirmed.
- Members can connect their own account to it. Like any account, it stays private until they share it with a role or the company.
- Your connector belongs to your workspace only.
Limits#
- The address must use https.
- Private or internal network addresses are refused.
- Up to 200 actions per connector.
- An action has 60 seconds to answer.
Remove one#
Deleting asks Delete <name>? Its tools disappear for everyone.. If agents use it, the count is shown first.
