Connect Claude Code

One command adds Homla to Claude Code. Your browser then opens so you can sign in.

Before you start#

  • Claude Code is installed and you can run claude in a terminal.
  • You have a Homla account. If not, create one first.

Steps#

  1. Run this oncePaste this in Terminal. It adds Homla, then opens your browser to sign in.
    Terminal (macOS, Linux, Windows CMD)
claude mcp add --transport http homla https://app.homla.ai/mcp && claude mcp login homla
On Windows PowerShell, use ; in place of &&:
    Windows PowerShell
claude mcp add --transport http homla https://app.homla.ai/mcp ; claude mcp login homla
  2. Sign inApprove the connection in your browser. See what the sign-in page shows.
  3. Try itStart claude and ask: Use Homla to list my team's skills.

If you belong to more than one workspace, copy the command from the app instead. Open Home, click Claude Code, and the command already holds your workspace address.

Claude Code older than v2.1.186#

Older versions have no claude mcp login. Run only the first half of the command. Then start a session with claude, type /mcp, and choose Authenticate for the homla server.

Add your team's skills to Claude Code#

Skills reach Claude Code through the connection already. To also install them as native Claude Code skills, see Skills in Claude Code and Codex.

Remove it#

Terminal
claude mcp remove homla

This removes Homla from Claude Code on this computer. To cut access everywhere, an admin can remove you or your app in Homla. See Access and roles.
