Connect it#
In Homla, open Connectors, then ClickUp. The Setup guide button walks you through the same steps, with fields to paste into.
Who can do it. Any ClickUp member can create a personal API token for their own account. Homla then acts as that member, so create it from the account the work should be attributed to.
Recommended. Invite a dedicated member such as [email protected] (avatar > Settings > People > Invite), sign in as it, and create the token there. Every task, comment and time entry Homla makes then shows under that name, and you can cut it off without touching anyone's access. It is a paid seat on paid plans. A guest will not work: guests cannot read Workspace-wide tasks and time entries.
- Open the Apps page of your ClickUp settingsSigned in as the member Homla should act as, ideally the dedicated wedge-bot member. The same page opens from your avatar, top right > Settings > Apps. Open it.
- Generate and copy the API tokenUnder API Token, click Generate (or Regenerate if one already exists), then Copy. The token starts with pk_. ClickUp shows it again on this page later, and it never expires. Open it.
Regenerate switches the previous token off at once: anything still using it, another integration or an older Homla connection, stops working.
- Only if the member belongs to several Workspaces: copy the Workspace IDOpen the Workspace in ClickUp. Its ID is the number right after app.clickup.com/ in the address bar: app.clickup.com/1234567/home gives 1234567. With a single Workspace, skip this step. Open it.
- Decide what Homla can reachA ClickUp token has no scopes: it can do everything its member can, in every Space that member can open. Limit it by limiting the member: share only the Spaces, Folders or Lists Homla should see with wedge-bot. For read-only use, give wedge-bot view-only access in ClickUp, and give people a read-only role in Homla so the write tools stay hidden.
- Paste it into HomlaIn Homla, open Connectors, then ClickUp, then Connect. Paste the token into ClickUp personal API token, and the ID into Workspace ID if you copied one. Save. Homla encrypts the token and never shows it again. Open it.
The token gives full access to everything its member can see. Paste it only into Homla, never into a chat or an email.
What your AI can do#
These are the actions Homla gives your AI. Your role decides which ones you get. Write actions are a dry run until confirmed, see Approvals and dry runs.

Disconnect it#
In Homla, open the account menu on the tool's page and choose Disconnect. Anyone it was shared with loses access at once. To cut it off on the tool's side too:
To cut Homla off at once, click Regenerate on the Apps page of the member who owns the token and do not paste the new one anywhere, or remove the wedge-bot member. To rotate, regenerate and paste the new token into the same Homla form.
